Year 2 - Puffin Class

Puffin class have been creating story maps in our outdoor area all about the journey of The Pigeon Spy. They have also made some outdoor art inspired by Andrew Goldsworthy.

Puffin class enjoyed our Poppy Day based around our topic of World War I.

We have been doing some shape sorting in Maths.

Before Christmas, we made our very own WW1 army tanks! We built on wheels so they could move around and made sure they were camouflaged.

We went into the outdoor classroom to make a 3-D Rainforest using natural things, based on artwork by Jeannie Baker.

We really enjoyed our school trip to The Living Rainforest. We saw lots of amazing animals and smelled some interesting things you would find in the Rainforest. It was so much fun!
