Safeguarding
The whole school community at Watermore Primary have a responsibility to safeguard the children and young people who attend our school.
We ensure all staff have successfully completed necessary enhanced clearances to enable them to work with children. As well as all staff receiving safeguarding training we have a specifically trained and nominated Designated Safeguarding Lead and Safeguarding Team.

NSPCC ‘PANTS’ Campaign
The NSPCC’s ‘PANTS’ campaign has been supporting and encouraging parents and schools to talk to primary aged children about saying safe. The PANTS tools and resources give adults clear and simple ways to open these conversations in a clear and child friendly way. This helps children to understand that their body belongs to them and that they should tell someone they trust if anything makes them feel upset or worried.
At Watermore, we fully support and deliver the PANTS message to our children. Click here for a Parents’ Guide We also recommend watching the ‘The Pantosaurus Song’ with younger children, which can be accessed here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-lL07JOGU5o
