Miss L RawcliffeHeadteacher
Miss L Rawcliffe
Hello I am Lisa Rawcliffe and I am very proud to be the Headteacher of Watermore Primary school. I have been here since September 2021 and love it very much.
Before joining Watermore I worked for 26 years in a large primary school in central Bristol. Here I was a teacher, the Inclusion Manager and finally the Deputy Head. My Special Needs background means I am very passionate about Inclusion and meeting the needs of all learners in our school.
I believe school should offer the opportunity for children to experience as much as possible in order to spark their interest for future learning and hobbies. I am pleased to be the Head of a school that does just that, both as part of an amazing curriculum and through all the extra-curricular activities we offer here.
When I am at home I love keeping fit by cycling and flinging about kettle bells! I am a vegetarian who enjoys fine dining and world cuisine. I really hope to start travelling again soon to tick off some more of the capital cities of Europe on my travel list.

I completed my PGCE at Manchester Metropolitan University and worked in schools in North Manchester before moving to Bristol in 2012. I was the year 5 & 6, then year 3 & 4 at Frampton C of E before coming to Watermore as Deputy Head in January of 2018. You might see me running the gardening club, or waving on the front gate in the morning!

Mrs J PowellInclusion Manager
Mrs J Powell
Hi, I am Jacqui Powell and I have the privilege of being the Inclusion Manager at Watermore Primary School. I have held this role since 2018 and before that I spent almost 15 years as a class teacher, teaching children from Year 1 to Year 6. Before finding my passion for teaching I worked in retail and for the Police and then embarked on completing my teaching degree with a specialism in the Early Years. My thirst for my own learning as well as that of the children continues and I have undertaken a Postgraduate Certificate in Vulnerable children which is a requirement that enables me to be the school SENCo. As well as working within the school, I also mentor new SENCOs and am one of the Lead Senco's for a group of schools within the Local Authority.
In my spare time I enjoy running and have recently completed my first (and probably last) half marathon and being a Mum to 2 boys I spend a lot of my spare time watching sport (football, rugby, cricket, cross country) I am also a Governor for a local Primary School.

I moved to Bristol shortly after, and taught firstly at Brockeridge Infants and now at Watermore. I am an active member of the school's PTFA and enjoy working in this community. I have a passion for teaching our youngest learners, and seeing their progress over the course of the year, and throughout their school journey, is a privilege.
Out of school, I enjoy reading, gardening, theatre trips and visiting family and friends who are scattered in all corners of the UK.

My name is Sara Oughton and I am class teacher for Robin class.
I'm originally from Northampton but moved to Bristol to go to University and never left.
I have been teaching for more than 25 years now and first taught at Brockeridge Infants over 20 years ago, and now at Watermore. I am currently the staff governor on the governing body and always enjoy supporting PTFA events.
I really enjoy teaching the youngest children in school. We have lots of fun and it's great to see the progress they make over the year. I'm always so proud of the amazing independent learners they become, and love to hear how well they continue on their learning journeys throughout our school and beyond.
When I'm not at school my favourite thing is to spend time with my (almost grown up) children. We're enjoying having a puppy in our lives and have found lots of great walks to take him on. I love creating things and also enjoy reading and theatre visits.
