The Design technology curriculum at Watermore Primary School celebrates the process of designing and evaluating products to innovate ideas. Children are given a wide range of opportunities to gain and develop a range of new skills and knowledge. We focus on practising, improving and adapting skills and knowledge as opposed to on the creation of complete products (although these are made where appropriate) through creating mock ups, prototypes and elements of products. Children are given opportunity to practise and develop new skills before apply them to these projects.
